Innovation in the show space, academic content and an online gaming area in the upcoming edition of GAT Expo

(Cartagena, Exclusive SoloAzar).- José Aníbal Aguirre, CEO 3A Producciones, granted an interview to SoloAzar days before the start of the 23rd edition of GAT Expo, which returns to full use of the Cartagena de Indias Convention Center, with all biosecurity protocols and the participation of more than 50 exhibitors.

We are one month away from the Colombian trade show in Cartagena. What will be the main topics to be discussed at the GAT conferences?
The academic component of Gaming & Technology Expo 2022 includes an update on essential content for the growth of an industry that advances in technology at an exponential speed. Key issues in sports betting such as statistics, the protection of rights and personal data in search of responsible and fair gaming will be the protagonists of the day. Innovative interpretation of statistics to transform bets, reliable sports data from the operator for live bets, monitoring and engagement with the player, are also part of the presentations on March 15 at the Pegasos Hall of the Cartagena de Indias Convention Center.
Another great area of training to deal with about casinos has to do with strategies to retain and engage the player with the platform, gamification and exploration of trends applied to the betting market, rewards programs and much more.
Affiliate marketing, sports betting and casino will be focused on gambling and how to obtain leadership for the gaming sector, using SEO and SEM search engines.
We will have panels in which the authorities of the main operator associations in Colombia and representatives of Coljuegos, the country's governing body, leader in regulation on the continent, will participate. Lawyers from several countries will visit us to participate in a business conference specialized in rules and procedures to legally access operations in various jurisdictions in Latin America and the Caribbean.
It is important to note here that even though we had announced that the academy would only take place on the first day, even without opening the exhibition in stands, we have been forced to include on March 16, a training that will be the hit of the moment because it will be focused on eSports and bets and regulation in this modality.
What are the innovations regarding the design of the event space for the 23rd edition?
With all the biosecurity protocols, we are returning to full use of the fabulous spaces of the Cartagena de Indias Convention Center, such as the Gran Salón Barahona, where our land-based equipment exhibitors will be located to exhibit the latest advances in machines and the called Claustro de las Ánimas, where online platforms will show their news, benefits and opportunities. All areas have a unique architectural design that makes this fairground a benchmark in art for the MICE industry in the world. We will also use its large terraces with views of the Bay of Cartagena and the walled city from all angles for networking events.
In the online gaming area there will be an eSports Betting Bar where tournaments will be held with narrators from Counter Strike and Call of Duty, which will be the great novelty of the expo.
What are your expectations for the upcoming edition?
We are putting all the good vibes to this definitive step to the return in person and we can tell Soloazar that the first experiment we did in August of last year, when there were more mobility restrictions than now, gave us the guideline to bet on this fair in big. We did not expect in that event, the arrival of more than 600 participants from all continents, crazy to meet again and to approach a market in which the bookmakers of Europe have their eyes set. Imagine if we did so well in the trial by fire, now it will be even better.
What challenges do you see from the organization in terms of returning to a face-to-face event and what do businessmen think about this fact?
We have taken all the necessary health prevention measures, an excellent indicator is that 80% of the companies confirmed for 2020 will be present at the 2022 edition. Obviously, we understand and respect the decisions of some multinationals not to attend events face to face. expensive to protect your employees.
